Technical requirement :
- Familiarity with advanced features in Excel and proficiency in VBA programming for automating tasks and enhancing functionality.
- Understanding and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau for creating interactive and insightful visual representations of data.
- Working knowledge of Alteryx, a platform for data blending, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling, to efficiently process and analyze data.
- Preferably having hands-on experience with programming languages like Python or SQL, which are commonly used for data manipulation, analysis, and extraction.
- Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, which involve gathering data from various sources, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into a target database or application.
YOU'RE GOOD AT :
- Providing original analysis and valuable insights to case teams, often taking charge of an analytics section and collaborating closely with the team.
- Building credibility by working closely with case teams on analytics matters, and drawing conclusions on various internal and external issues related to your specific area of focus.
- Presenting analytical findings in a clear and sophisticated manner, including creating PowerPoint slides and charts to communicate insights effectively to consultants. Also, collecting, organizing, and analyzing input from case teams to develop new methodologies and best practices.
- Developing a deep understanding of at least one specific analytics topic or platform.
- Implementing analytical strategies and achieving specific outcomes, contributing ideas to help select the best approach for a given situation.
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications) :
- Possessing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
- Having strong analytical skills, including the ability to reason logically and solve complex problems related to mathematical programming and data analysis, while paying close attention to detail.
- Capable of understanding project requirements and suggesting analytical solutions proactively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and insights.
- Reporting to a Senior Manager in Data & Analytics within the BCG X Delivery team, and collaborating with different teams on client projects.
