Job Description :
- These roles usually last for 3 to 6 months and begin at different times during the year. They involve working on projects that help our company achieve its business goals.
- As a candidate, your job will be to gather and analyze pharmaceutical data, both from inside and outside the company. This data will be used to make important decisions that impact our business. You’ll also use advanced analytics techniques like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to tackle new and interesting questions related to our commercial operations.

Required Education and Skills :
- Candidates should be currently studying towards a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computational Biology, Engineering, Management, or a related area.
- They are expected to graduate within the next 1-2 years.
- Fluency in at least one programming language like Python or R is necessary, along with a good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with basic data science principles and advanced statistical methods (like clustering, regression, classification) is required, or the willingness to learn.
- Candidates should have demonstrated their ability to solve complex analytical problems independently.
- An interest in supporting pharmaceutical data and analytics initiatives such as segmentation & targeting, digital analytics, big data analytics, patient claims analytics, is important.
- They will need to develop innovative analytical solutions and apply statistical and/or machine learning techniques to address new commercial analytical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Candidates must be able to balance methodological rigor with project timelines and deliverables effectively.
Preferred Experience and Skills :
- Candidates with experience using popular machine learning and data manipulation tools like scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, or mlr are preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and databases like Redshift or Athena is beneficial for the role.
- Candidates who have some knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and working with Large Language Models will be considered advantageous.
