What You Will Do :
- Support Special Product Orders (SPOs) and maintain older product lines.
- Provide CAD/FEA/Testing assistance for new products, modifications, and SPOs.
- Follow the Product Development Process (PDP) and collaborate with peers, supervisors, project managers, other engineering teams, manufacturing plants, and testing labs.
- Have a deep understanding of assigned product families.
- Set and achieve organizational, departmental, and personal goals.
- Focus on creating value, improving productivity, and making continuous enhancements.
- Use CAD tools like NX/ECTR, SAP for engineering changes, PowerPoint for presentations, and Excel for analysis.
- Plan tasks based on organizational priorities in coordination with supervisors.
- Ensure quality in all work performed.
- Generate innovative ideas and product suggestions.
- Provide packaging specifications for connector and harness assembly.
- Assist the engineering team with packaging-related tasks and corrections for older products.
What Will Put You Ahead :
- Proficient in NX/ECTR, with optional knowledge of Hypermesh.
- Familiarity with the product development process.
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand specifications.
- Adaptive and open to changes as per organizational requirements.
- Basic understanding of SAP, ERP, and PLM systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable and confident in handling conference calls.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new things quickly.
