Your Role and Responsibilities :
- We’re on the lookout for a Technical Support Professional to join our IBM Data and AI product Support team. This group is made up of skilled and motivated individuals who provide technical assistance to IBM clients using Data and AI products.
- Your main tasks would include understanding, narrowing down, and defining the problems our clients are facing. This means getting to the root of their concerns and understanding how widespread the issue is. You’ll also need to manage client expectations and explain the technical impact and reach of the problem.
- In collaboration with other support teams, you’ll use your technical skills to prioritize and diagnose problems until they’re resolved. This might involve working closely with our development lab to fix any product defects we find.
- You’ll be responsible for keeping clients updated on progress and action plans according to our response guidelines. It’s important to keep detailed records of every step you take in solving the problem, including any interactions with the client.
- Sharing your knowledge and expertise is also a big part of the role. This could involve writing tech notes, blogging on social media, or simply helping out your team and clients with what you’ve learned.
