Description of the Role at Harman Internship:

As a member of our Build and Integration team, you will learn and support DevOps and CI/CD practices. You will get hands-on experience working with tools such as Git/Gerrit, Jenkins and Python. Your experienced colleagues will teach you the basics to build and manage our CI/CD toolchain.

Your team:
The position reports to the Head of Build and Integration India. As an integral member of our experienced development team, you will make an impact working closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and our Integration Software Project Leaders.
What You Will Do at Harman:
- Perform day-to-day software integration activities.
- Help set up, configure, and monitor our CI/CD environment.
- Automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes.
- Write scripts (Python, Groovy, Bash) to improve the CI/CD development workflow according to project needs.
- Document build and deployment processes.
- Participation in team meetings and contribution to discussions.
- Attend HARMAN University training courses to enhance your skills.
What You Need for Harman Internship:
- Open to learning and improving your technical skills.
- Basic knowledge and technical understanding of continuous build systems, version control systems, and configuration management.
- Good communication and facilitation skills.
What is Nice to Have:
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Bash).
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent related field.
