Key Responsibilities :
- Help create and put into action plans to keep our company safe from cyberattacks.
- Keep an eye on security alerts and events to catch any potential problems or weaknesses.
- Test our security systems to see how well they’re working and if they need improving.
- Jump in to help when there’s a security issue, like investigating what happened and fixing it.
- Work with different teams to make sure everyone’s following the best ways to stay secure.
- Write down what we learn and how we fix things so we can keep getting better at keeping our company safe.
Required Skills :
- Know a lot about how to keep things safe online and follow the best ways to do it.
- Be familiar with different tools and technologies that help keep networks secure, like firewalls and systems that spot and stop attacks.
- Have used cybersecurity tools and systems before, like ones that watch for unusual activity or find weak spots in security.
- Be really good at solving problems and paying close attention to details.
- Explain complicated technical stuff in a way that everyone can understand, both when speaking and writing.
- It’s a plus if you’ve worked in jobs or internships where you’ve helped protect against cyber threats before.
