What Part Will You Play?
- Writing code for TSYS Software either on your own or with guidance from a Team Leader, using different tools.
- Making sure the software you develop meets high-quality standards and is free of bugs before delivering it to clients.
- Taking on various Quality Assurance tasks, which involves checking that the software works well and meets client needs.
- Success is measured by how well and quickly you release software to clients without any issues.
- As a Programmer Analyst, you’ll also be responsible for fixing any problems clients report with the software.
- You’ll need to work well under pressure and be part of a rotation system for being available around the clock.
- Meeting all the tasks assigned by your Supervisor is important.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or IT related such as Computer Science, MIS, BCA, MCA, B Tech.
- 0-1 years of professional experience in IT industry in Oracle Pl/Sql or C/Pro*c/Java will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities?
Desired Skills :
- Proficiency in developing software using Proc * C or ANSI C programming languages.
- Strong skills in database development, particularly in Oracle 10g and 11g using PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks on the Linux platform.
- Experience in developing software for large enterprise systems.
- Project involvement in tasks such as installing, configuring, testing, and training clients on software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.
Good To Have Skills :
- Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, which is how computers communicate over networks.
- Past exposure to TSYS ONLINE platforms and experience with implementing top products.
- Proficiency in developing software using VB.NET and ASP.NET, particularly for web-based environments.
- Knowledge of Payment Systems processes and stages, including Issuing, Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement.
- Familiarity with the ISO 8583 message format, which is a standard for financial transaction messaging.
