An Associate QA Engineer is someone who checks computer programs to make sure they work well. They work with the team that makes the programs to make sure they’re good enough. Their job is to find and fix any problems before the program is finished. They want to make sure the program works the way it’s supposed to and doesn’t have any mistakes.

Responsibilities :
- Create and develop test cases based on what the software needs to do.
- Work with the team that makes the software to check and fix any problems that come up (like testing if a fix for a bug actually works).
- Keep track of any problems found during testing using a system called JIRA.
- Help figure out what’s wrong with the software and provide proof of the issues.
- Know how to make tests run automatically and write scripts for them. Also, know how to report on these automated tests and keep them organized.
- Work with different teams to make sure we test all the important parts of the software.
- Know a bit about databases and how to use them to test software. Also, know some basic programming in Java.
- Be good at talking to others and explaining things well.
- Be good at figuring out problems and finding ways to solve them.
- Be skilled in automating tests using tools like Selenium and know how to use Java for scripting.
- Have experience in testing APIs (like checking how software talks to other software) and it’s a bonus if you’ve used a tool called Karate for this.
- Always look for ways to make our testing process better, like trying new tools or techniques to make it faster and more effective.
