In this Role, You Will :
- Help improve a really good codebase and work on systems and tools that can handle a lot of requests without crashing.
- Use modern languages like Scala, Kotlin, ReactJS, and C#, along with cool data technologies like Kafka and Spark, all in a flexible development setup.
- Make sure everything runs smoothly by using the latest ways of testing and updating software, so there’s no interruption in service.
- Think about the whole life of the product, from figuring out what it needs to picking the right tech, writing the code, testing it, getting it out there, and keeping an eye on how it’s doing.
Qualifications for Success :
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or something similar.
- Know the basics of Object-oriented or Functional programming.
- Understand how relational and non-relational databases work.
- Good at speaking and writing in English.
- Ready to pick up new things fast.
It’s a Plus if You Have :
- Hands-on experience with Scala, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, or C# would be a big plus.
- Previous involvement in building backend applications and services, and understanding how to make them handle a lot of users.
- Knowing your way around data platforms like MS SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop, because different apps need different kinds of data handling.
- Familiarity with automated CI/CD systems, a commitment to making sure your code works well from the start, understanding how to structure software neatly, and knowing the basic rules of good programming.
- Being good at using important tools like Git for keeping track of your code changes, TeamCity for automatically checking your code, and Puppet for getting your code out to users.
