Job description :

The Salesforce CIO Organization is searching for an experienced Technical Writer to join our Content Strategy & Governance team. This role will involve helping create technical documents for our Site Reliability team. We’re looking for candidates who have experience in researching, creating, and producing different types of technical documents like knowledge articles and standard operating procedures. You should have a variety of skills, including writing, editing, and communication, to make sure the documents are accurate and well-written. In this position, you will report to the Manager of Content Strategy & Governance.

  • Creating processes and solutions to better organize and manage our knowledge.
  • Moving information from our current storage places to new and improved technologies.
  • Making sure everything related to knowledge in Site Reliability is organized and working well.
  • Using what we know and the best ways of doing things to suggest ways we can get even better.
  • Helping with analyzing and reporting on what works well in our content.
  • Making sure that we follow the rules and guidelines for organizing and managing our knowledge.

Desired Requirements :

  • Have worked in technical writing before.
  • Know how to write and create technical knowledge content.
  • Have experience setting up knowledge centers in technical settings.
  • Know how to create systems and tools for managing knowledge for big organizations around the world.
  • Good at understanding business needs, thinking strategically, and analyzing information.
  • Can think about the big picture and pay attention to small details.
  • Organized and good at managing many projects, responsibilities, and people.
  • Very good at building and maintaining relationships with people inside the organization.
