Job Description :

The R&D Engineer II helps create and improve software products and the systems that support them. As a member of the Office of CTO, in this job, you’ll use machine learning and deep learning, including generative models like stable diffusion. Your main tasks involve researching and creating trial versions of ideas. You’ll also collaborate with the larger product team to include these ideas in our products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Engages in complicated tasks, such as exploring, designing, creating, updating, testing, and explaining diffusion models.

Studies advanced learning techniques to use them for computer-based simulations in areas like fluids, structures, electromagnetics, optics, and electronics.

Participates in idea generation, planning, structure planning, and research activities.

Teams up with product engineering groups to put into practice models in real-time and come up with new features.

Establishes effective and scalable methods for handling large-scale data studies, model creation, framework development, model checking, and model use.

Finds and solves issues in the code.

Develops tests to thoroughly check new features or adjustments at different levels.

Operates with the guidance of a development manager.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience :

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Working experience developing machine learning code in C++ or Python with a focus on deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or Scikit Learn   

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Needs a Master’s or PhD degree along with 1 year of experience in creating models like GANs or Stable Diffusion.
  • Should know how to work with GPUs (graphics processing units) using programming languages like CUDA, OpenGL, OpenCL, or DirectX.
  • Having published work in well-known journals or conferences like CVPR, NeurlPS, ICML, or ICLR is a plus.
  • Experience in understanding 3D shapes, computer pictures, or computer vision is also valuable.
